Meet Our Massage Therapists
Hello! My name is Barbara. For nearly 20 years I have been helping clients stay healthy and active. As the newest licensed massage therapist, Barbara is excited to jump on board the Advanced Sports Chiropractic team.
My massage practice has seen me working with clients recovering from injuries/surgeries, managing the demands of pregnancy and delivery, navigating chronic illnesses and maintaining optimum sports performance. My training and style of massage ranges from Swedish to Deep Tissue, Peri-natal to Myofascial Release, Reiki to Sports massage and Craniosacral Therapy to Abdominal massage. Each session is tailored to meet your specific needs!
I love getting to the root of a problem but, more importantly, I love being an integral part of a healthy lifestyle. Massage makes people happy, and I love that instant gratification.
I am a mom to two wonderful and active children. When I am not volunteering at school or for my daughters’ sports teams, I am gardening or walking/hiking/running on some amazing PNW trail.
I am excited to meet you and help you stay healthy.
Kate Tomlin, a massage therapist since 2008, brings with her to Advanced Sports Chiropractic a solid background of training, education and client dedication.
Kate’s well-rounded treatment focus to her clients and patients of Advanced Sports Chiropractic is all a part of the wellness team approach you can expect from us.
Kate’s training includes Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral and Neural manipulation through the Barral Institute. For more information on Craniocacral Therapy and what it can do for you, check out the Upledger Institute. Kate is also intraoral endorsed for working in the mouth for patients experiencing oral surgeries, TMJ, night biting or grinding or headaches. While most of her training has been in facial release, she has also taken courses through the Herman and Wallace Institute to assist patients suffering from pelvic pain.
Born and raised in Bellingham, she loves her community and enjoys biking and gardening. She has chickens, cats, turtles and dog…but she mostly enjoys spending time with her daughter.
